start and end times of a session

Is there a way of getting the start and end times of a session in Initialize? I need to do some calculations once when the indicator is loaded to calculate no of bars in a session and would like to do this in Initalize or OnStartUp.

You will need to use OnStartUp() and you can use Bars.Session.GetNextBeginEnd() for this -

I just realized I place in the wrong section. I need to do this for an indicator. I dont think I can use OnStartUp in an indicator can I? If not would there be another way to do this?

You can use OnStartUp() in either Indicator or Strategy. No limitation there
