SetTrailStop() Clarification

SetStrailStop() definition states " .... Trail stops are amended on a tick by tick basis. ..."

Is this regardless of the setting for COBC(true/false). I have a SetTrailStop() in ticks with COBC = true and the trailing stop is not being updated for every tick movement in the direction of the trade. At best the trailing stop is be updated upon the completion of the current bar.

Using Market Replay.

Does COBC setting have an effect on when the trailing stop is updated?

Thank you for your post.

That is correct, SetTrailStop will trail when OnBarUpdate is triggered.

So if you want the trail stop to update every tick, set the strategy to run with Calculate on bar close set to False so it updates every tick.

(The help guide is saying that the trail cannot have a frequency set like in Atm Strategies and will move 1 tick for every gained tick of profit)
