Need help understanding syncing accounts

Hi,
Ok, so I have finished my shiny new strategy and want to try it out live. I've read the help file on syncing account positions and can't make heads or tails of it. Presumably, I come in in the morning and have no open positions (at least I better not!). Assuming this, the 2 "Wait until flat options" don't seem to apply.
I don't understand the other 2. Do I want Sync account position set to true or false? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend to check out the link below first which explains the difference between a strategy position and an account position.

If you apply your strategy, it will calculate on the historical data that is requested. It will calculate if orders would have been submitted on the historical data. Based on these historical executions, you could be in a strategy position when you start the strategy. This means you are not in a real position (account position). If you select "Immediate submit live working historical orders", it would submit live orders right away if you have a strategy position.

If 'Synch account position = true', it will try to synch your strategy and account position.
