Manually modify profit target and stop loss orders placed by Strategy

Is there way to manually modify profit target and stop loss limit orders placed by Strategy?

Live strategy seems to revert maual modification of exit limit orders. This is very frustrating.

Please advise. Thanks.

Thank you for the question.

For Strategies, once you enable the strategy it will be actively running and depending on what you have chosen for the CalculateOnBarClose this will either happen each tick or each bar close.

In your logic if you are setting profit targets and stop loss orders the strategy will control these items depending on your logic.

If you were to reset a value in-between the strategies calculation it would hold for the amount of time it takes before the next calculation and then be set according to the logic or what was provided as the value.

This is expected as the strategy will control its own orders, for manual orders you would need to submit these manually to be in full control of the orders price or use an ATM strategy instead.

I want strategy to set initial exit orders in place, while I can manual intervetion and overwrite the values when necessary. There should be a setting for this. This is a common use case. Ninja should support this.

Thank you for the reply.

This is normal and expected when using a Automated strategy as it is an automatic system which is intended to not have user input after the strategy is enabled.
For a semi automatic mode that would be the ATM strategies.

I can submit this as a feature request if you would like but again this is expected behavior when using an automatic strategy.
