Outstanding Order Quantity.

Hi,

Is NT handles the following scenario.

If I enter a Long position on AAPL with large 5000 quantity and I get partial fills. After 30 seconds later, the order has not completely filled.

For example the order filled only 3000 quantity, and outstanding quantity is 2000. And I don't want the order with outstanding quantity to be filled after 30 seconds, and the order still be open, and the remaining quantity be filled later. So after 30 seconds I want to cancel only outstanding quantity 2000, not the filled quantity.

Hi Samerr, you can just use the CancelOrder method to cancel your order at the desired point in time - https://www.ninjatrader.com/support/...ancelorder.htm

For the 30 seconds you could look to implement a custom timer for example to trigger the cancellation (http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=5965) or you would run / work via the timestamps provided by a 30 sec series, although due the event based nature of bars creation the time needed to complete a bar could actually be longer.
