Resetting data, instruments, and everything

As is common knowledge for anyone who does a lot of heavy strategy development, with a lot of backtesting, sometimes Ninjatrader's database just gets - corrupted, hung - I don't know, I just know it's annoying and necessary. It happened again today.

And it looks like it's a bit more serious this time. Now, when I start NinjaTrader, any attempt to backtest a strategy - even a simple one, covering only a one-week period - hangs the program.

Could you please provide me with the proper procedure for resetting NinjaTrader's instruments, historical database, etc? I'm an experienced user, who's comfortable mucking around with directories and files.

pbailey19, sorry to hear that experience - before we do the reset could you please contact us via Help > Mail to Support so we could review your diagnostic trace / log files from this install for more insight? We will then be able to provide a better tailored reply.
