Strategy keeps displaying on chart after deletion

Hi,

Could someone please tell me why a strategy keeps giving buy and sell signals on a chart even after it has been deleted from the chart?

The strategy was being backtested and optimized.

I have also stopped and restarted Ninjatrader and it hasn't helped.

Is it in the Strategy Tab from the control center? Remove it from there.

You mean it would give new buy / sell signals then or you would still see the past ones that were taken on the account as the script was running?

Precision in description required. "Giving" signals, or "marking" where signals were given? A strategy cannot give signals unless it is enabled, which so far as I can tell must always be done manually. So if you have not enabled a strategy, it cannot give orders.

My reply: The Strategy has been removed from the strategies in the control center.

My Reply: I still see the past ones that were taken on the account as the script was running. I disabled it, so I don't think it could still be working. I don't really know since the signals are very few..

Thank you for your response.

The previous executions no matter if manually submitted or from a strategy will be shown. To change this right click in your chart > select Data Series > scroll down to Plot Executions > set to DoNotPlot > OK.
