    3 days above SMA entry

    Hallo,
    I would like to add a filter to my entry signal that checks whether all closings of the last x days were above the SMA.

    Is there a function for that use case or do I need to programm these checks day by day?

    Can anyone give me a hint?

    Thanks

    Hello phadreus,

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

    This can be achieved with a for loop to loop through the x number of days. The following is an example:
    Code:
    			int count = 0;
    			for(int i = numDays; i >= 0; i--)
    			{
    				if(Close[i] > SMA(period)[i])
    					count++;
    			}
    			if(count == numDays)
    			{
    				// Do something
    			}
