Pending Cancel issue

Hello,

I have a strategy running that among other things submits stop loss orders. Yesterday, after market reopened, I renabled the strategy (it already had open positions). When doing it, NT usually cancels the original stop loss and resubmits a new one. Up to last night all worked well, but now the original stop losses are in red Pending Cancel status. No matter what I tried to do, I ca not get rid of this status. Usually these stop losses get Cancelled status, but this time I have news lines labeled External that are in cancelled status, within Control Center Orders tab.

All is good on the broker end ( IB ).

I assume, there is really no issue, since lines labeled External are representing the real cancellations right now. but want to make sure.

My main concern stop loss is being submitted twice.

Hi RedDuke,

I recommend that you restart NinjaTrader so that the PendingCancel items show as fully cancelled.

If they do not, run the database repair and then restart again.
(Tools -> Options... -> Data -> Repair DB)

Thanks for a reply. I will do what you suggested. Any clue what could have happened? I have done these kinds of restarts many times, and have never seen this issue.

Hi RedDuke,

My guess is that the orders were cancelled before you connected.

But I can't be sure about that as you would have to check the time of the cancellation with your broker.
