Lots of help needed on strategy order management
I am developing a strategy on a tick chart that is alternating between shot and long positions, and all is well on the backtest. I made some bars since exit conditions in order for the backtest to alternate between positions (I avoid using crossover and prefer using >= to allow for other indicators in the condition). On the backtest there are cases where an entry into a position is made on the same bar as an exit. This strategy really falls apart on the forward test, whether the first trade is long or short it seems that all long trades will not be made subsequently and the entries are never made on the same bar as exits. Would I be able to email my strategy to someone so they can revise this. Much appreciated.Tags: None
