Help to develop a code

Hello guys,

I have a strategy in mind that I would like to develop but I do not know from where to start: I have programming knowledge but this one might be difficult. I would like to try it on my own and I need a little bit of help from you.

Here are the basic features of my strategy:

• My Strategy is based on the movements of a pair of stocks.
• The strategy follows the price action of these 2 stocks based on the number of ATRs up or down.
• Graphs must be colored based on price action (Main trend, rally, etc.)
• Entry points are based on the number up or down following a previous top or bottom

I was wondering if somebody could indicate me a basic (free) NT strategy based on similar elements that I could further develop?

I am not aware of such a strategy. For the majority of the strategy you are going to need to be familiar with using multiple instruments in your code, you can find information on this at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...nstruments.htm
For coloring the bars you would use BarColor: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...7/barcolor.htm

We have a fully documented help guide which will help you get started with Ninja Script. You will find language references to all of the methods and functions you will be using. You will also see a tutorial section which will help you create your first indicator and get you started with some of these concepts.
