I need to figure how to disable two consecutive entries from same type

    Hi,
I am developing a strategy via the wizard that uses SMA, offset and aroon in order to identify overbought/oversought entry points.

I however need to disable consecutive entries from the same type, as sometimes when there is a stronger trend, this could result in several "long" entries that could fail.

I prefer to have only one failed long entry, and the only possible entrie after that to be short.

I need to ask if it would be possible to add such a rule via the wizard.

    Thanks

    Hello Nikolaax,

    Thank you for your post.

Yes, you would want to use a variable switch essentially.

You can use the 'User Defined Variable' to set and test the value between different conditions.

I have screenshots of how thisis done with the Wizard

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
