Hey guys - I have a strategy that I'm currently working on. For some reason it takes several minutes to load on my dev box. However on my VPS it loads in less than 10 seconds. Same code - same settings.
I rebooted my dev box but that didn't fix it. Could it be the data for some reason? Both systems have a fast line to the Internet, I imagine there could be only marginal differences, definitely would not account for a factor of 20x. Should I perhaps try to delete my database - it may be corrupted. I have been using market simulator a lot on my dev box, so perhaps something got messed up in all the testing.
BTW, this may be important - when I launch the MarketReplay connection things seem to launch a lot faster than on a live connection. Go figure... but perhaps it hints at what causes this in the first place.
