Backtest not stopping

hi, I am running a strategy backtest in strategy analyzer. The strategy starts but it stays in the "Backtest in progress...." and does not finish. This is happening on all strategies. Even the sample cross over that comes with the product. Any idea how to diagnose this?

Hello Onn,

How much historical data is requested in the backtest? If you reduce the amount of historical data, do backtests finish?

Does it make a difference if you restart NinjaTrader or does it occur each and every time?

Can you please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support. Put 'Att Jason, Backtest not stopping' in the subject header and enable 'Log and trace files'.

this was resolved by restarting ninja trader
