I've searched the forum about placing a
Stoploss order and TakeProfit order at the same time with a LimitOrder
but I still have a few questions before I start program (and "get lost") in an Unmanaged Approach.
I use TWS from IB.
In NT I prefer the managed Approach. I have some strategies with Limit orders. When they are submitted, only a limit order is placed without the attached Stoploss and TakeProfit. These are placed as soon as the Limit Order is filled.
I would like to place the Stoploss and TakeProfit immediately with the Limit order. So when, for example, my internetconnection is lost while having a Limitorder filled I Always have the Stoploss and TakeProfit attached as OCO. And off course for a better price position.
So like I can do manually in TWS with Bracket orders.
Can this be done in NT with a Managed Approach? Because this is the ultimate Managed Approach I think...
And what would be the best way to do this? Any examples?
And if not possible, is this planned for future releases?
TIA
