Auto-Trail function

Dear community,

I'm new to NinjaScript and heard about the Auto-Trail function in NinjaTrader. As I understood, I have to place it manually for every order that I want to trail.

My question is: Can I Auto-Trail every order that I opened manually? So that I don't have to choose the order and set it to Auto-Trail.

Auto trail with manual orders is a function of ATM orders.

Can you give me a code snippet where I can set the auto-trail function to every currently open order?

My strategy easily looks like this:
Set the stoploss of every order to 2 points. And that every time when I open an order.

There isn't one piece of code that will set all orders to auto trail.

Before I further assist can you let me know if you're trying to manually place Entry orders or have the Entry orders automatically placed?

The orders are placed manually and then have to auto-trail by the ATM what you said.

In that case this won't be coding related at all. You would want to configure an ATM strategy that has the desired trailing stop attached. Then each time you place the order it will use that same stop technique.

Ok, thanks. But I really don't understand.

I know it from the MetaTrader that every time I open an order manually, the Expert Advisor sets the stoploss to 2 Points. Is this possible in NinjaTrader? Or do I have to open the orders through a strategy?

I have to set a stoploss and trail the order I opened manually by automatic system. So that I don't have to set the stoploss and auto-trail manually.

I think there might be some word confusion here.

Are you using a NinjaScript Strategy to place orders automatically for you, or are you manually clicking on either the SuperDOM or ChartTrader to manually place your orders?

Both ways are possible to have a 2 point stop automatically attached but require different approaches

I manually click to place an order (ChartTrader or SuperDOM). What do I have to do then to place an automatic 2 Points stoploss and auto-trail then?

So my strategy works like this:

I open a buy or sell order manually.

The rest is automatic:

1. set stoploss to 2 points
2. set stoploss to +2 points in profit
3. trail-stop after the 2. step

Can I make this with ATM? Or how do I do that?

Ok, I got this video and finally made my first ATM strategy.

But there is a problem. I have a stoploss of 2 and want to set it to +2 if the price is 2 points in profit. So it should not be breakeven stoploss. How do I do that?
