using a if statesman in properties section
Is there any reason why I shouldn't use an if statement in the Properties section of a ninja script. I only need to declare additional public variables if a second contract is switch on in the strategy properties so I wanted to use a bool to disable adding them if the second contract is off. Would that work?Tags: None

Hello GKonheiser,
Thank you for your note.
If statements must be used inside a method. This is a conditional statement that is tested inside a method.
You can set a OnStartUp() if statement to essentially turn off or set those variables to different values that won't interfere with your script.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.Cal H.NinjaTrader Customer Service
