Backtesting Elder impulse system

Hello everyone,

I am trying to backtest the Elder Impulse system (that was posted as an indicator on this forum) but I don't know how to create the strategy for it. Can someone comment on how the indicator needs to be inputed into the strategy wizard?

Hi FW,

Thank you for your post.

I'm not sure how to use the indicator for a strategy but I can show you how to access an indicator in the Strategy Analyzer.

I have attached a picture to demonstrate this.

You will create a new condition.
Expand the Indicators by clicking the '+' next to it on the left hand side.
Select the indicator you wish to test on the left side.
Below you will see the parameters for the indicator appear and you will be able to adjust them to your needs.
You will select a operand in the middle, such as equal to, greater then, etc.
On the right hand side repeat the steps to what you want to test the left side against.
