Error data request IB

In a strategy I use the add command to add future data. The instrument is the FTI future (AEX Index future, the Netherlands). If I activate the strategy I get the error message "error on loading chart FTI 12-13 fta. The contract descriptions specified for EOE is ambigious. You must specify the multiplier (200)".

The data request is for InteractiveBrokers with the symbol EOE. How and where should I specify the multiplier in the code of the strategy to overcome the ambigious symbol error?

Hello Renejm,

Can you please proceed as follows. Disconnect IB and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager. Highlight the FTI in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit. Select the Misc-tab and change the symbol map for IB to "EOE|||200" without quotations. Click OK.

Remove and re-add the FTI to your instrument list now that it has different settings. Instructions can be found at the link below.

Click OK in the Instrument Manager and check if the error persists.
