Too many signals on one minute chart

I have a strategy based on a 1-minute instrument. I have added a 10 minute object so that I can use oscillators based on 10 minutes and draw an up or down arrow on the 1-minute chart if the 10-minute oscillator condition triggers. It works but...I don't want it to draw an up arrow on every 1 minute bar while the 10 minute trigger is true. I want to draw the up arrow only on the first one minute bar where the 10 minute oscillator condition triggers.

Attached is an example. The strategy uses COBC = true. As you can see, when the 10 minute condition triggers, every one minute bar after the 10-minute trigger will have the down arrow or the up arrow on it for the remainder of the 1 minute bars that are included in the 10 minute period the trigger exists.

How do I avoid all the up and down arrows besides the first one?

hmm, the other problem is that the 10 minute oscillators don't have 10 minute historical data on a 1-minute chart when a 10-minute object is added to a 1-minute chart. This means the 1-minute chart will have to run a long time before the 10-minute oscillators are useful.

Thought about this question some more and thinking that the easiest way to setup this strategy is to
modify the strategy to normally run on a 10 minute chart and then the oscillator up and down arrows will only draw once. This actually makes more sense but means I have to modify my 1-minute strategy. I will give that a whirl.

If you are using the 10 Minute Period to do all of your calculations on this, yes using a 10 Minute time frame as your main Data may be better suited for this. Then if you need any intrabar calculations then may add a 1-Minute time frame into your strategy, otherwise you would have to add some variables and check to get your signals to only show up once.

JC, I just started to make a 10-minute strategy and integrate the 1-minute strategy but this would be way too much work. So now I'm back to how do I draw the up and down arrows of the 10-minute triggers so they only draw once on the 1-minute chart?

This strategy has to COBC.
