    Advanced Order Management (TWS)

    Hi guys

    I want to connect NinjaTrader to Interactive Brokers and I have followed the instructions which is mentioned on the website http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...nnection-Guide

    But the Advanced Order Management is disabled. Please see the attached picture.

    Hi Imran,

    Thank you for posting.

    The second window that is open is the Advanced Order Management Window since the selection is currently grayed out.

    You should be able to open NinjaTrader and connect to Interactive Brokers. When trying to connect you should see a dialog box appear from TWS about accepting an incoming connection.

    If you are still having connection issues, please send me a request to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with ATTN Cal in the subject and a reference to this post in the body.

        Hi Imran,

        Thank you for the reply however, the image takes me to a different link and I am unable to view the image. Could you please repost the image by attaching it as a jpeg with the steps below -

        Click Reply > Go Advanced > Click the paperclip in the top toolbar and attach the image.

            Hi Imran,

            This error indicates that a setting in the TWS is not selected -
            *Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients

            From the Advanced Order Management window go to Edit > Global Configuration
            Select API then Settings.

            Click the box next to Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients.
            Click Apply and Ok

            Please retry your connection from NinjaTrader.
