Welcome to our forums Eric - you would need to call this indicator values / signals in a NinjaScript strategy to be able to execute orders automatically or backtest their performance from the chart or our dedicated Strategy Analyzer -

To get started without coding, you can check into the point and click Strategy Wizard inteface, which would let you define trade entry / exit conditions via the powerful ConditionBuilder -

      Thank you Bertrand.

How to call indicator values / signals in a NinjaScript strategy?

I click Strategy Wizard interface, and select my indicator , but I can't see custom parameters.

Eric, what is your indicator exposing then firstplace? What would it generate as signal? Does it have a plot?

          It would generate arrow signal.

            Hi Ericwongew,

Would you be willing to share your Strategy?
You can find your strategy in -
            (My) Documents > NInjaTrader 7 > bin > Custom > Strategy

You will need to click "Go Advanced" and click the Paperclip in the toolbar in order to add as an attachment.

                Ericwongew,

                Apologies.

Unforunately, you would not be able to backtest an indicator. You can add it to a chart and see the results over the past time frame.

                  Ericwongew,

                  Thank you for being patient.

I wanted a chance to follow up on this thread.

While you would not be able to backtest an indicator, you can however use our strategy wizard to create the same conditions and variables to draw the arrow signals that you are looking for.

Let me know if I can further help out
