Trading at specific times

Hello,

I would like to have my Strategy analyzer to trade only between 10am and 3.30pm EST. I have changed my default session with a custom one I have created but the strategy log still shows me 4.00pm as trading time.

How can I accomplish this?

I tried that method again but, because I'm testing on daily bars, my strategy returns zero trades. If I remove the time control I have trades at 4pm EST.

How can I ensure that, even with daily bars, trades are executed only between 10am and 3.30pm EST?

What you're describing can not be done with only daily bars. You would, at the least, have to add a secondary array of minute bars to "look inside" the daily bars. A daily bar, by definition, has only an open, closing, high and low price. A daily bar has no reference to a 10am or 3:30pm time.
