Tracking orders

Hi, I am currently using OnPositionUpdate(IPosition position) to keep track of my position within my strategy. However, I want to be able to run multiple instances of this strategy and only track the position of a trade (long or short) executed from that instance of the strategy. Can I do that with OnPositionUpdate(IPosition position) or is there another function I need to use? thanks

Thanks for your note.

Strategies do not have the ability to report the position for another instance of a strategy.

The IPosition will only be for this instance of the strategy.

Are you finding that this is not the case?

I tested this and you are indeed correct. I assumed it would detect any trade position, regardless of its source of execution. I should have tested before sending the request. Sorry about that. Thank you.
