There are a couple things to keep in mind with bars required and multi series. With a single series script you will begin calculating after X bars required. With a multi series script every series will need to have X bars required. This can lead to testing differences because the start time for the script may be different.

Your logic of using 53 does make sense to me.

Now you have me thinking...on the multi series when I set the strategy analyzer to 53 min bars required is this only setting that for the main instrument I have highlighted in the left column deaming this ineffective somehow?

It is the setting for ALL added series. If you had a daily series added, it would need 53 days loaded before OnBarUpdate was called
