Contuation of strategy after IB server reset

There is a reset of the IB servers every day, effectively shutting down the IB platform for 10-15 mins.

So if I have a strategy that runs for 24 hrs, is it possible for NT to pick up the strategy position after the reset?

For example I am running a strategy and I have a long position over the IB reset time. I usually restart my PC, log into IB and reconnect NT.

At this point, is it possible for NT to recognise the long position when I restart the strategy?

John833, thanks for the post - unfortunately there would not be an option to make the account position a strategy position, the way the sync currently works is from the strategy > account, so if you restart your strategy it will calculate a historical strategy position and then you could chose to sync up the account to reflect that (if it's not already present like potentially in your case). A further option offering more flexibility here is on our feedback list for consideration.
