    can't access order token after strategy disable

    When using SubmitOrder() to submit a target or stop, I seem to lose access to the ticket
    if I shutdown Ninja or otherwise disable the strategy.
    For example, if I open a positition and then I want to shutdown the computer for maintenance over the weekend, when I restart on Monday., I can't seem to close that position via Ninja, even though the broker order desk has the Target or stop on its book.s
    Note that I do save the token in a local file, before shutdown. Its value just doesn't work on Monday

    What am i missing? How do I re acquires access to any open orders after "Disable"

    So I may investigate this matter further please answer the following questions.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

    What instrument(s) have you selected? If a futures instrument, what expiry is selected? (Example: ES 06-13)

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      lost order ticket after restart

      Are you saying that the strategy should, in fact, properly pick up outstanding orders after disable or shutdown?
      Meanwhile, I am trying to get the infromation you requested from my client.

        Hello roland_nt,

        Yes, NinjaTrader will try to check for any active orders previously generated by your strategy. If it does find them then they will cancel the orders first,
