Hi - thanks for the reply - but the code you sent generated error from the first line- private TakeTrade = false;
Is there no code free on the internet that simply accomplished this task. Calculate off of Renko and execute off of tick. i just want to get accurate backtesting results. it executes obviously correctly in live, but i need to backtest.........thx

Oops. The variable is not properly declared, Correct would be:

private bool TakeTrade = false;

I have corrected it in the original posted code.

There probably is, if you look long enough and with the correct search terms. I would not know where to look though, but then again, I have a different preference when it comes to learning new things.
