EnterShortStop / EnterLongStop with same name

I have a strategy that places an Entry order : EnterLongStop. Before the order is filled, I want to cancel it and switch to EnterShortStop as fast as possible.

first order entry:
EnterLongStop ("EntryOrder",..

first order revised after several bars:
EnterShortStop ("EntryOrder",...

would Long order be automatically canceled or do I have to cancel EnterLongStop and wait for execution before placing EnterShortStop?

This depends on whether or not the order is liveUntilCancelled

Notice the last overload here gives you the options to set liveUntilCancelled to true or false. If set to false it will cancel as soon as OnBarUpdate() is called when the condition is no longer true.

If set to true, you would want to use CancelOrder() to cancel the order before placing the new one: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ancelorder.htm
