Reset Strategy

    Reset Strategy

    Hi,
    just started a strategy....and stopped it by chart trader.....
    If I starte this strategy once more, there are some trades running.
    How is it possible to "reset" this strategy, so it can be started with zero ?

    Hi Ralf53,

    To help clarify,

    Are you entering these orders from the Strategy or Chart Trader?

    Would you like to close the existing orders first or resume them?

      Hi,
      I start the strategy with the normal window. I stopped the strategy with the chart trader with another window. Wanna close the existing orders and trades. Thats no problem.
      And after some time want to start the strategy again.
      (But then there are old strategies running in the background....HOW to STOP them?)

        Thanks for the reply.

        To have your Strategy reset to a Fresh start you will need to go through the Strategies tab in the Options Menu.

        To do this -
        • From the Control Center, Tools>Options>Strategies Tab
        • Below the Strategies Tab will be two more tabs, ATM and NinjaScript. Click on the NinjaScript tab.


        In the NinjaScript Tab checkmark both the
        • Cancel entry orders
        • Cancel exit orders


        Whenever, you disable the strategy,it will reset to a fresh start.

        If you are worried about live trades still running you may wish to un-check the Cancel Exit Orders option.

        As a back up to the live trades and closing them you can utilized the Positions Tab in the Control Center to close out certain positions.
