Incorporating indicator code into strategies

Hi everyone

I don't have the fastest PC imaginable and therefore I'm especially keen on inproving code processing speeds as much as possible.

All my strategies call indicators (either native Ninja or my own coding but no third party). It should be possible to incorporate all the coding (using data series) into the strategies so no 'exterior' calls are made.

My question is a simple one: in so doing, would I obtain a real speed advantage or would it be at best marginal?

Of course, I know it depends in the complexity of the coding, etc., but, as a general rule, would it be worth trying to achieve this?

Thanks very much for pointing me to that thread, Bertrand.

It strikes me as a 'cleaner' solution to have everything on the same page, as it were, even if there might not be any great gain in speed. I'll try it out and report back to this thread if I have any helpful hints.
