bar width vs time scale

when you expand the time scale the bar width increases....i.e. even though you set bar width to 2 it increases to 10 or 20 or whatever the further you expand the time scale

I have often thought that this is a bug... at the least it is very annoying as you have to keep resetting the width back to where you wanted it in the first place.... and if you are plotting beside the bars you must reset the width to see what you plotted

what is the point of a fixed width setting if expanding the chart can automatically override it?

bug? or expected feature?

is this being changed in ninja 8?

Hello,

This is expected as the width would be in relation to the scale.

Our development team is looking to improve the handing in this area and this feature is tracked using ID #494.

I would say not necessarily...i.e. I plot beside the bars and continually must reset width ...fixed would be great

glad it is being looked at for improvement.... perhaps an option of fixed vs floating width?
