Please tell me that NT 7 Strategies and Indicators will be compatible w/ NT 8 right?

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader 7 codes will not be fully compatible with NinjaTrader 8. However I am not sure at this moment, how much the code breaking changes will be.

Joy...is there a way you can request of the developers to please make them as compatible as possible (I put a ton of work in these),,,sure others have too...smile?

Also, would the developers have a guide so we can learn what to adjust to make our indicators and strategies compatible so we can quickly and easily adjust the code?

Yes, we are aware of the custom codes which users are using and we try our level best to make it as compatible as can be.

Yes, we generally provide a basic guideline for any code breaking changes for supported NinjaScript codes. Please refer to this post which lists the code breaking changes from NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 6.5
