Monthly Breakout

Hi all,

I have a very simple idea that I would like to be the starting point of a strategy. Monthly High Low breakouts. Before Going any further I simply wanted to backtest a strategy in whcich I place a EntryLongStop at the monthly high and exit after 1 candle.

I run into the problem that ninja doesn't place the EntryLongStop at the next candle after an entry. I read in the forum that EntryLongStop don't execute when other orders are active.This is embarrassing, can anyone suggest a woraround?

Depending on exactly what you are trying to do the internal order handling rules may reject the subsequent entry / stop order. Please refer to the section "Internal Order Handling Rules that Reduce Unwanted Positions" from our help guide to know more about it.

In such scenario you may try the Unmanaged approach to submit the orders. Please refer to our help guide to know more about it.
