Unfortunately this is currently not possible birdog, but we're looking to enhance this behavior for our next major platform update.

Do you think Ninja 8 will also allow us a option to enable to auto-roll (with no action needed by the user if turned on) instruments in the instrument manager, strategies, and anywhere else? That would be "awesome" if so...smile.

Hi Greg, what we're planning to have is a semi automatic rollover feature - so you will transparently see which contracts are due for rollover and then you can choose to rollover instances where those would be used in the platform. This will add more convenience to the process of futures rollover.

Ok...so, like a dropdown menu function in the Strategies tab ("edit strategies") and other areas where we can select the right contract on the fly without having to remove, and add, and delete strategies etc etc...?

Hi Bertrand,

If the instrument list in the Manager can auto roll to next maturity, that would be really cool. Right now if we need to add 100 futures contracts to a list and then at maturity we need to again create the whole list by manually adding each symbol one by one.

Please raise a ticket for this?

Thanks, having the semi rollover feature extend to custom instrument lists as well is on our product development lists as well - I agree that would very convenient to have.

Unfortunately we would not have an ETA for our next major platform update - we're working hard on it though and are as excited as everybody else!
