ATM strategy in a Backtest

Recently i develop an Indicator bundle that will use ATM strategy to manage Order execution
i have to know if i can develop a strategy using ATM and Back test in the same way if i create a strategy using limit and market option i think will be a problem with Back test calculation in the bar close.
Please clarify me that idea. Thanks

Thanks for your note.

Unfortunately you cannot backtest a ATM NinjaScript Strategy.

ATM Strategies operate in real-time only and will not execute on historical data thus they can't be backtested

I am currently evaluating whether Ninjatrader will provide the framework I need to move forward on my project.

I just wanted to weigh in on this thread (and a few others) to identify this point as a barrier to using Ninjatrader for my project.
