Default Strategies parameters...

Within a strategy, there can be parameters that the programmer puts in however there are other parameters that are there by default, such as Data Series, Time Frame, General, and others. In the Data series, there is 'Price based on', 'Type', 'Value' and 'Instrument(s)'. Is there a way to default these (maybe via code) to some value? I would like to sent the Type, Value and maybe Instrument to a default value so when I'm testing I don't have to set it every time I run a test.

I appreciate any response you can give...

You can right click on the parameter box and can save the parameters as default.
