Switching to Global Simulation Mode

Hello,

After trading with a strategy, I attempt to switch to "global simulation mode", however it won't let me. NT7 says that I have 10 running strategy(s) on a live account.

If I disconnect my data feed, NT7 then lets me switch to "global simulation mode".

I am concerned that I have 10 running strategies that I am unaware of. I did go into my strategies and delete all strategies hoping that would solve the issue, however it did not.

Hello Rory,

Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forums!

Removing Strategies will not close any open positions. An Automated Strategy is designed to be fulled automated solutions so no manual interaction can be attained. With that said removing a Strategy will stop that so any remaining positions will have to be manually monitored and handled.

Hello JC,

After disabling my trading strategy for the day and allowing NT7 to properly close out my positions, I attempt to turn on "global sim" mode, however NT7 says that I have 10 running strategies. I only have one strategy at the moment because I deleted all the other strategies. I looked in today's log file and noticed that NT7 is attempting to start an older strategy that is not longer on my system; maybe that is a clue to my issue?

If you go to the Strategy tab inside the Control Center to you see any addition Strategies?
