Inflation, GDP and fundamental data charts

Kinetick offers some things that may be similar, but to my knowledge this data would more than likely be provided by some other service.

Access Fundamental data

Hi all,

Looking to access fundamental data through NT, I came across thiss thread:

I have kinetick live connection, but I can't figure out how to access the data. In the ziped file the 17 data types kinetick offers are detailed out but symbol search on their homepage doesn't give any results. I'm not really sure how NT could represent this data either, as an indicator or separate symbol for each stock?

Thanks Bertrand,

I understand that this is not the primary pupose of NT but do you plan to extend these features. I would like to add some longer term strategies to my arsenal and it would be great to have some sort of stock screening possibilties within the backtesting framework of NT.

As for now, if I understand it right, I could write a strategy that calls the OnFundamentalData() method to define screening conditions like for example NextYearsEarningsPerShare needs to be greater then 10. Then run this strategy on a basket of stocks in strategy analyser.

We're always looking to improve our product.

Please keep in mind that OnFundamentalData() is a real-time source only. There is not any historical fundamental data that is available at this time. This will not allow you to backtest using this data at this time.

I have sent this in as a feature request. Once I have a tracking ID, I will let you know.
