Effect of change of source code on "enabled" strategy?

Hello,

Can someone tell the effect (or absence thereof) of changing the source code of an 'enabled' strategy?

For instance, would the change be effective upon

- recompile (I would doubt so, but felt I had to ask anyway)?
- de-enabling and re-enabling the strategy? or
- removing the strategy from the list in the 'Strategy' tab and re-creating it (not my preferred outcome since I have a couple dozens of instances of each strategy)?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

Changing the code does not effect a currently running instance of the Strategy, even after compiling.
The only way to change the current instance is to disable and then re-enable the strategy on the Strategies tab of the NinjaTrader Control Center or on a chart to press the F5 key on your keyboard to reload NinjaScript.

At least I don't have to remove/add back in the strategies list, which was what I feared!
