After compiling a custom class (not strategy) called filters, which refers to a variable of Strategy base class, and successfully used this class in custom strategies, I tried to export it as a standalone assembly (.dll) for deployment to other machines.
However Ninja gives a strange error, during export:
10/28/2012 2:19:01 PM Default Error compiling export assembly: c:\Users\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Strategy\filters.cs(129,55) : error CS1061: 'NinjaTrader.Strategy.Strategy' does not contain a definition for 'MACD' and no extension method 'MACD' accepting a first argument of type 'NinjaTrader.Strategy.Strategy' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
Seems to be a .net .dll reference issue.
Please advise.
