What Historical data really is?

I'm asking about the test that 'Historical' is doing. Is it basically checks whether or not the bar currently being processed was already closed?

And what about cases where COBC = false? is it then looks for the last tick received before returning false?

I need to know in order to understand if it is possible that Historical will suddenly or accidentally return true after reaching the last bar (the real-time data).

Historical checks whether the object runs in historical bars or in realtime. Please refer to our help guide to know more about it.

COBC will determine whether to calculate the OnBarUpdate events tick by tick or at the end of the bar. Please do remember for Historical bars COBC will always return true.

In realtime Historical will return false at the end of the bar.

I've already read the articles. This is why I asked the questions. I wanted to know how Historical works. If COBC = true, will Historical return false when the bar which was just now closed is being evaluated, even if the new current bar has already opened?

If you are live and COBC = true, and if a bar closes then Historical will return false.

The 2 are different properties and are independent of each other.
