    Indicator requirements for strategy use

    In my own indicator, the results are plotted.
    For this indicator to be used in a strategy, does it needs special requirements? Or does the strategy 'reads' the plot as the indicator value? And what when having two plots?

    Best regards,

    Michael

    Hi Michael, correct the plots would be exposed, so the strategy can 'read' / use those values in it's calcs. You can access any plot by following this syntax YourIndicatorName(Parameter x, Parameter y ...).YourPlot1

    So if we take our default Stochatics as example, which is a multiplot indicator as well, then accessed the %D plot would be done with this call :

    double value = Stochastics(3, 14, 7).D[0];
