    Strategy not showing

    Having been away from NT for a year when i started using a few weeks back the first thing I did was to upgrade to the latest version.

    I had some problems with Charts with multi Data Series and as advised here rebuilt my workspace.

    I then built some Strategies with the Builder and at first all worked fine, then they would not appear and I had to remove and add again. Then the same strategy sometimes shows on one chart with multi data Series but not on another.

    I have tried Repairing Data Base, removing Cache, restarting, rebooting but still the problem prevails.

    Hello saintalan,

    So that I may further assist you could you answer the following questions.

    Could you clarify what is not being display on some chart but not others? For example do your plots in your strategies show on some but not others.

    Do you see any errors in the Log tab of the Control Center?

    Can you check to Strategies tab to make sure that your Strategies are enabled?

      Thanks for prompt reply JC. I have 3 chart windows in workspace 2 with multi Data Series, one with 15min and 480m and another with 480m and Weekly.

      They both have 2 strategies, one common to both, the plot of this strategy plots on one but sometimes not on the other when both Enabled.

      First time I have looked at Log and I cant seem to maintain display of a very long line but I do see Error Handling but to be honest do not understand it.

        Could you send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

          Keep getting Failed to Send Mail vError

          I had this last week saying connected party does not respond or host failed to respond 72.232.148.211:25

          Will try couple more times then off to bed (UK) will try again tomorrow.

              OK managed to configure mail and Log & Trace sent as requested.

              Please note I have rebooted this morning and so far all is well, but hope if/when problem occurs you can compare logs etc. Will send if/when it happens.

                As if by magic following the above, I have just changed instruments on the MA and the three charts are frozen with no data.

                Data shows in MA.

                This particular scenario is not one that has happened before but they are all pretty different!

                I have mailed Log & Trace.

                  Thanks for eMail response, I have made an exception for NT in my Resident Shield and no other scans are used. I have rebuilt database and cleared cache and rebooted.

                  Hopefully that will resolve issue.
