Is there a way to know if my strategy run on backtest/maket replay or online?

Hi kiss987, unfortunately there be no real supported method available to check for those items, for replay you can though play with - Bars.MarketData.Connection.Options.Provider == Cbi.Provider.Replay

Another option is simply setting up a user input that you would set / check to adapt sections in your strategy to the environment is operates currently in then.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, the Bars object cannot be called from the initialize method which is where i need it.
Setting up a user input is possible but will require me to change the parameter each time i switch from MT to online which is quite frequent.
Perhaps there's another way?

Sorry there would not be another workaround way I could suggest. I will add your requests though to our list of potential enhancements tracked in product management.
