    Cumbersome Debugging

Any suggestions to streamlining debugging a strategy?

I am able to debug in Visual Studio Professional. However, once I want to stop debugging, change the code, and start debugging again, I run into problems.

To stop debugging, I stop the debugger in Visual Studio. But, that leaves the strategy running in limbo the Strategy Analyzer. To start over again, I have to reopen the Strategy Analyzer (something that is fairly slow when compiled in debug ~ 1 or 2 minutes), recompile, reattach the process in VS, and then kick off the strategy in the Strategy Analyzer.

Is there are better/more streamlined way?

What I am doing now works, but it is cumbersome.

    Hello Serac,

It sounds like it is to be expected since you do not want to change the code while a strategy is running.

Once you stop the debugging are you able to finish the Strategy Analyzer test?

I do not know of a better way, possibly a member of the forums with experience debugging may have some feedback.
