    Unable to restore strategy...

    why does NT try to restore old strategies that are no longer in a chart or workspace?

    my custom assembly has 2 current strats only.... when I connect to Zenfire the Log shows NT tried to restore 16 old strats dating back up to 3 months...the open workspace has no charts calling the old strats

    where are these old strat names with IDs located and how can I delete? seems to be related somehow to zenfire connection

    Reset DB seems to have cleared the problem

    Yes, also you can try to recreate the workspace and this sometimes helps. It's a harmless error here, but I can see why it would be concerning.

      installed 7.0.1000.11

      no workspaces at all...no charts at all

      on zenfire connect still get log errors trying to restore old strategies long since deleted

      deleted all files in workspace folder and still get errors

      it appears ninja saves something in db relative to old zenfire connections

      why not fix this bug?

      it is annoying to have to read a lot of Log errors every time ninja connects to see whether they are valid or 'harmless'

      there is either an error or not... i.e. there is no such thing as a 'harmless error'

      resetting the db clears the error however also resets all accounts, removes all current strats, etc

        Hello,

        If strategies are removed the via the NinjaTrader method of Control Center->file->utilities->remove NinjaScript assembly this should not occur as this method also removes it from the workspace/DB. This would only occur if something was removed manually.

        If you have run into this occurring with proper removal steps then we would want to get it sent to development. Please send me the steps that you ran into this and will happily look into it.

          Hi Brett
          I always use Remove NinjaScript Assembly...never manual remove from Strategy folder
          Log is clean now...will look for a recurrence and advise further then
