Plotting into chart

somehow I did not yet understand how to plot into the chart.
1. If I used an indicator (for example SMA) and I want that the value is plotted in the chart, what exactly must I do?
2. If I want to plot a custom calculated value (calculated in my strategy, not as an indicator), how can I plot this value?

thanks. the example link is only for real time charts. I am looking for backtesting charts with strategy analyzer. Is it there not possible to plot?

Unfortunately short of using drawing objects this is the only reference sample that would work.
