Rockin round the Clock

Hello NT Support,
I have a simple strategy in the Strat. Wizard Condition Builder involving cross above/below an indicator line that I want to activate over larger time frames (hour--daily). I've included no time conditions just the buy and sell (reverse) trade signals. No stops or targets. But it keeps exiting on close. What do I need to do to let it run continously with selected down periods that may change as I see fit. Thanks

Hello,

When you are enabling the strategy either from a chart or from the Control Center, you will find Order Handling property called "Exit on Close".

If you would like this to trade beyond the close, please make sure you are setting "Exit on close" to "false".

Is there a way to handle this in the Strat. Wizard Condition Builder? And program in selected periods when strat. is active and not?

You have a few options to set this up depending on the approach you are using.

You can use the Strategy Wizard and create a condition using the Time condition section.

Or you can simply create a session template from the Session Manager for these hours and apply the strategy using your custom session template.
