Update a GTC entry order

Hi there,

I have a submitted GTC entry limit order, not filled yet, and I want to update that order's limit price ... I understand I could cancel the current order & submit a new one, but is there a way to just update the current order?

Of course, I am using managed orders.

Thanks for writing in and I am happy to assist you.

Just reassign the Entry() method to change the order.

For example if you have submitted a limit order to buy 10 ticks below the current close,

EnterLongLimit(Close[0] - 10 * TickSize);

and you want it to change it after sometime to say 5 ticks below the current close, then please reassign it as

EnterLongLimit(Close[0] - 5 * TickSize);
